I love my chins....if you cant tell yet, but im sure youll be able to tell soon.  I just want people to have the chance to fall in love with chins like i have.

chinchillas virtually extinct in the wild due to hunting because of their fur and loss of their habitat so at least they are being keep alive in captivity...

Favorite Things Chinchillas Do

One of my most favorite thing ( i know its not gramatical but it gets my point across) is when i walk into the room and my chins run to the side of the cage to "say hi"

Another has got to be when i hold a kit for the very first time as they squeak, but then they get used to you (i expecially like it when they fall asleep) but mom gets some rest and i get to hold the little one. Its a precious thing to hold a kit, the first week is the most exciting because you can see all the changes in the kit(s).

breeding chinchillas is rewarding but i wouldnt recomend it for just anyone because it is a HUGE responsiblity so before you start to breed talk to people and reseach so you know what you are getting yourself into
