(Mu)ChaCha
ChaCha was my very first Chinchilla, a standard. She has such a wonderful personality. she knows her name
and she is just so cute. If it wasnt fir her i probably wouldnt have fallen in love with chins. She has had two
kits that i have kept so far a boy and a girl. hopefully i dont keep anymore because then i expand my herd more
and i dont have any room left right now.

Chloe
Cloe (Ebony) was my first pet shop chinchilla other than Chico who was almost socialized but she still wont let me touch
her unless i grab her and rock back and forth humming. i know its weird that i found that out but i have to do that
for all my pet shop chins. She went though a depression in September of 2004 when her "room mate" died.
I put my first baby chin (Zoe) in there with her and she started eating again. She is currently by herself because
she cannot handle being bred. We almost lost her when she had Henry and we dont want to take that chance again.
Char(okee)
Char needed a home badly she was an older chin, that i saw at the pet shop.
She has ChaCha's personality, she would come to the side of the cage to greet anyone as they walked into my room, but
doesnt like to be held, like most per shop chins. She would have been a good mom, too, if only she has been given the
chance.
Char died on June 1, 2006, of unknown causes, less than a month after having a premature baby.

Chynna
Chynna was my third chinchilla. The minute i saw her i had to have her. I was going to buy Chico from a breeder
who had to sell his whole herd. She was 3 weeks old and he convinced me to hold a baby. He picked her up and i
couldnt believe how cute she was. Unfortunately, when she was about 5 months old i relized she was still the size
of a 10 week old chin. I didnt pay that close of attention til one day i picked her up and she was really skinny, skinnier
that she had ever been so i took her to the vet and i force feed her for weeks. We had her teeth ground thinking that
they were to sharp and it hurt for her to eat. Then she would wait for me to feed her everyday. i thought she
was doing better. Then Zoe was born. Six days later i woke up to find Chynna dead. That was the worst day of my life.
I hope it is a long time before i have to say good-bye to another one of my chins.
RIP <Chynna> June 24, 2003 - September 17, 2004
Henry
Henry is a baby that is very close to my mom. when he was sick after is mom stopped producing milk my mom hand
fed him for almost 8 weeks. Then when his mom attacked him and he almost died. The vet's office didnt think he
was going to make it but they gave him alot of care and sent him home as soon as possible so that he could get back
into his rutein with the feedings. They have recently contacted us to see if he made it and we were proud to report
he is doing extreemly well. My mom decided to keep him cuz she had to pay for all the vet bills and i think she earned
him.
